The year 1996 A.D. passed quickly for most people. Nothing seemed too unusual about it. Yet, it was a year that marked a very significant event. It was the year that Yehowah’s (Yehowah) Judgment Period placed upon the House of Ysr’el (Isr’el), the Ten Tribes, came to an end. 1996 A.D. became the year of release for the Redeemed of Yehowah within the House of Ysr’el. It was a time for His people Ysr’el to be set free from religious confines and indoctrination. Very few believers are even aware that they were redeemed during a specific period of time set-forth in the Scriptures as Yehowah’s Judgment Period. Nor are they aware that there is a call upon their lives today from the Father in Heaven to repent of religion, to seek Him for forgiveness for the time spent in idolatry, and to make a return to the ancient paths found in His Word, the Mosaic Torah.
The following study will help us to see the Judgment Period from a Scriptural point of view, and how it has affected our lives. It will also answer the question as to why religion has flourished for centuries, and why Yehowah’s people have been so influenced by the teachings of the Church. To begin the study, the subject of idolatry must be understood from the Hebrew concept as expressed in the Scriptures.
THE HEBREW CONCEPT OF IDOLATRY
The Hebrew word “teraphim” means “a healer; a family idol; idols; idolatry; images.” This Hebrew word links the sin of idolatry with a mental condition that occurs in people’s minds when they worship idols. The Hebrew word suggests that idol worshippers are dull of mind; obstinate; stubborn; they have a wicked nature. Therefore, the Hebrew word “teraphim” classifies idols to be not only statues but also mental images: philosophies, fantasies, and imaginations of the mind.
The Hebrew word “atsab” also specifies the physical and mental aspect of idolatry as being “idolatrous image; idol.”
Another Hebrew word “shiqquets” also pertains to idolatry. The word means, “idolatry is disgusting and filthy; it is abominable filth to have an idol or to worship an idol; it is a detestable thing.”
1 Shemu’el (Samuel) 15:23 states, “For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and stubbornness is as wickedness and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of Yehowah (Yehowah), He also does reject you as sovereign.”
THE SIN OF IDOLATRY
Yehowah’s Judgment Period came as a result of the sin of idolatry. The Scriptures tell us that ancient Ysr’el was specifically forbidden to worship idols.
Shemoth (Exodus) 20:3-6 says, “You have no other mighty ones (ba’als; gods) against My face. You do not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the heavens above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth, you do not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, Yehowah (Yehowah) your Elohim am a jealous El, visiting the crookedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and guard My commands.”
The Hebrew concept that Shemoth (Exodus) 20:3 conveys is that we are not to put anything between Yehowah’s Face and our face. In other words, we are not to take our eyes off Yehowah’s Face; we are to see His character at all times. Any other thing or object that we set our eyes on, and place our affection upon will stand between Yehowah’s Face and our face. He wants our whole attention, and all of our adoration. To place any object of our affection and adoration between Yehowah and us is idolatry.
People should also understand that the “eyes” are part of the face. The “eyes” are known to be the “windows of our soul.” The thinking process of our mind is located in the soul. When we place our “eyes” upon an object, our minds, which are closely regulated by our emotions, and our human will, or ability to make our own choices, begin to surround the object for estimation. If the object is found to be pleasing in our sight, or that we may gain something from it, we then choose to set our affection upon it. The emotional pleasure gained from our relationship with the object becomes the object of our soul, the object of our mind. In our minds we set the object up to be pleasing to us; we learn to depend upon it; we begin to devote ourselves to its existence; it becomes an object more important to us than our Creator. We have then begun to love the “created” more than the Creator.
Carving wood and stone images to represent various “gods” to worship was a pagan practice that was very prevalent in the ancient world. People bowed down to them, and served them. They placed their affection and their trust into these idols, and allowed themselves to fear the idols. Unfortunately, this human practice of idolatry still exists today. In this modern world that we exist in today, there are cultures that still use carved wood and stone images as objects of their worship. We can find totem poles, necklaces, hamsa hands in Judaism, hundreds of Hindu “gods” and “goddesses,” New Age trees and stones, and the wood and plaster statues in hundreds of Catholic Churches, and many other objects of man’s religious affections the world over.
Industry and technology of the modern world has also produced a variety of “carved mages” that mankind has placed as objects of affection that can be considered to be idolatrous also. Money, cars, houses, TV’s, VCR’s, DVD’s, movies, education, jobs, sports, titles, entertainment stars, you name it, and you can claim it to be an object of unholy affection. We have all found ourselves “enslaved” to something that became a “modern” day idol in our lives.
Probably the most popular and hardcore form of idolatry in the world is religion. Millions worldwide are caught up in religious worship that is idolatrous. Religion is very dangerous because it is so deceptive. People are easily led into the various forms of religion because religion appeals to the emotions of man predicated by the circumstances in their lives. Once the religious teachings are believed to be true, the followers become like “sheep led to the slaughter.” They become indoctrinated.
People have made “gods” out of their particular religions. They have set up pastors and teachers, music ministers, church buildings, church memberships, church denominations, Bible translations, false teachings and doctrines, etc. as lesser “gods“ within their religions. All the while they are all in the sin of idolatry. One of the biggest and most widespread forms of idolatry today is the use of manmade names for religious “icons.”
Today, the Redeemed within the Christian religion are so indoctrinated that they place more importance on the names “Jesus” and “Jehovah,” and their conjured up religious images than actual Scriptural Truth. The Hebrew manuscripts tell us that the True Name of the Creator of heaven and earth and mankind is Yehowah (Yehowah). The information is available to everyone who seeks Truth. Most Christian Bibles convey the Truth about the Name of Yehowah in their preface pages, but Bible translators persist in continuing the tradition of covering up the Name, and inserting titles for the most reverent Name in heaven, and should be on earth. Religious indoctrination that substantiates the use of the manmade names is foremost in most people’s minds, including Christians. So many are enslaved to the indoctrination of the manmade names, that to tell them what the True Names are, the Truth penetrates their religious minds to no avail. They have become so saturated with indoctrination, and so steeped in idolatry, worshipping their manmade names and religious “icons” that they no longer desire the Truth. They profess the religious names, bow to the religious names, serve the religious names, solicit for the religious names, and proselytize for the religious names. Their minds have become so dull, and they have become so stubborn that they are just as the Hebrew word “teraphim” suggests. Idolatry exists in all mainstream religions, Christianity and Catholicism included.
Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 26:1-3 says, “Do not make idols for yourselves, and do not set up a carved image or a pillar for yourselves, and do not place a stone image in your land, to bow down to it. For I am Yehowah (Yehowah) your ‘Elohim.”
PUNISHMENT FOR IDOLATRY
Ancient Ysr’el’s history reveals that the Nation continually disobeyed Yehowah’s instructions regarding the sin of idolatry. Due to their willingness to worship idols, Yehowah imposed severe penalties for the sin of idolatry upon the Nation of Ysr’el.
Several Scriptures tell us that the Nation of Ysr’el would be removed from their land to be scattered among the nations of the world where they would become immersed into idol worship of the heathen world. The heathen cultures all worshipped various forms of “sun-gods and sun-goddesses.” Each culture had its own names and titles for its “gods,” and own form of worship to its “gods.” As part of Yehowah’s punishment, the children of Ysr’el would become indoctrinated (mentally and emotionally steeped) in worshipping idols as the heathen people did as they migrated into various pagan cultures.
Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 26:33 says, “And I shall scatter you among the gentiles (pagans; heathens) and draw out a sword after you. And your land shall be desert and your cities ruins,…”
Debarim (Deuteronomy) 4:27-28 says, “And Yehowah (Yehowah) shall scatter you among the peoples, and you shall be left few in number among the gentiles where Yehowah (Yehowah) drives you. And there you shall serve mighty ones (ba’als; false gods), the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell (are not alive like Yehowah).”
Debarim (Deuteronomy) 28:64 says, “And Yehowah (Yehowah) shall scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other mighty ones (ba’als; false gods), which neither you nor your fathers have known, wood and stone.”
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 9:13-16, “And Yehowah (Yehowah) says, ‘Because they have forsaken My Torah (instructions) which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice, nor walked according to it, but they have walked according to the stubbornness of their own heart and after the Ba’als (false gods), which their fathers had taught them.’ Therefore thus said Yehowah (Yehowah) of hosts, the Elohim of Ysr’el, ‘See, I am making this people eat wormwood, and I shall make them drink poisoned water. And I shall scatter them among the gentiles (pagans; heathens), whom neither they nor their fathers have known. And I shall send a sword after them until I have consumed them.’ ”
Nehemiah (Nehemiah) 1:8 says, “Please remember the word that you commanded Your servant Mosheh (Moses), saying, ‘If you trespass, I shall scatter you among the peoples…’ ”
Thus, the children of Ysr’el, both Houses, were scattered into the world of idolaters for different periods of time for their idolatry.
A JUDGMENT PERIOD SET IN SCRIPTURES
During Ysr’el’s history, the Nation divided into two kingdoms as a direct result of idolatry. Unfortunately, King Shelomoh’s (Solomon‘s) willingness to worship the idols of his many wives took a toll on the Nation of Ysr’el.
1 Melakim (Kings) 11:4 states, “And it came to be, when Shelomoh (Solomon) was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other mighty ones (ba’als; false gods). And his heart was not perfect with Yehowah (Yehowah) his ‘Elohim, as was the heart of his father Dawid (David).”
1 Melakim (Kings) 11:11 says, “And Yehowah (Yehowah) said to Shelomoh (Solomon), ‘Because you have done this, and have not guarded My covenant and My laws, which I have commanded you, I shall certainly tear the reign away from you and give it to your servant.’ ”
As a result of his sin of idolatry, the Nation split into two kingdoms that eventually brought forth the scattering of the children of Ysr’el into the gentile (pagan; heathen) lands, some to never return to the Land of Ysr’el again. Yehowah’s Judgment Period for the sin of idolatry began after Shelomoh‘s (Solomon‘s) reign.
1 Melakim (Kings) 11:29-33 says, “And it came to be at that time, when Yarob’am (Jeroboam) went out of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), that the prophet Ahiyah the Shilonite (of Shiloh) met him on the way. And he was wearing a new garment, and the two were alone in the field. And Ahiyah took hold of the new garment that was on him, and tore it into twelve pieces (represented the 12 Tribes of Ysr’el), and said to Yarob’am (Jeroboam), ‘Take for yourself ten pieces (10 Tribes of Ysr’el), for thus said Yehowah (Yehowah, the ‘Elohim of Ysr’el, ‘See, I am tearing the reign out of the hand of Shelomoh(Solomon) and shall give ten tribes to you (Yarob’am (Jeroboam), but he (Shelomoh (Solomon) shall have one tribe for the sake of My servant Dawid (emerge the Tribes of Judah, Benyamin (Benjamin), and Levites into one tribe under the name of Judah) for the sake of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), the city which I have chosen out of all the Tribes of Ysr’el.”
Yarob’am (Jeroboam) was made King over the Northern 10 Tribes of Ysr’el, and Rehab’am (Rehoboam) became King over the Southern Tribe of Yahudah (Judah, the combined tribes of Judah, Benyamin (Benjamin), and Levites). The Northern Kingdom, known as the House of Ysr’el, under King Yarob’am (Jeroboam) did an unfortunate thing. Under the King’s orders, the Northern Kingdom instituted a new manmade religion, a mixture of the Mosaic Torah and idolatry. Yehowah’s Feast Days were changed, the Levitical Priesthood was changed, and the carved images of two golden hap-bulls were placed in two cities, Dan and Bethel, set aside as holy cities of worship. Yarob’am (Jeroboam) reinstated the Egyptian hap-bull idols that represented Egypt’s sun-god which their ancestors had worshipped in the wilderness while Mosheh (Moses) was on Mt. Sinai receiving the Mosaic Torah from Yehowah in Shemoth (Exodus) 32:1-4.
The Southern Kingdom of Yahudah (Judah) also was guilty of leaving the MosaicTorah instructions of Yehowah to worship idols.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 23: 36-37 states, “And Yehowah (Yehowah) said to me, ‘Son of man, judge Oholah (House of Judah) and Oholibah (House of Ysr’el, 10 Tribes)! And declare to them their abominations. For they have committed adultery, and blood is on their hands. And they have committed adultery (spiritual fornication) with their idols, and even offered their sons whom they bore to Me, passing them through the fire, to devour (human sacrifice).’ ”
As a result of the idolatrous state of their hearts, the House of Ysr’el, the 10 Northern Tribes of Ysr’el, ignored the many warnings of Yehowah that He would scatter them into the gentile lands to become like the “gentiles” in their abominations of idolatry. The Assyrians invaded Northern Ysr’el in 734 B.C., and began to deport the children of Ysr’el into Assyrian held lands. By 722 B.C., the Northern Kingdom was entirely in the hands of the Assyrians. From the Assyrian lands of deportation, the children of the 10 Tribes of Ysr’el would eventually migrate northwards to settle in new lands after the decline of the Assyrian Empire. They would continue to scatter and migrate, and resettle further north until all of the European lands were thriving with generations of descendants of the 10 Tribes of Ysr’el.
The House of Yahudah (Judah) would be invaded by the Babylonians in 606 B.C., and finally carried off to Babylon (modern day Iraq) in 588 B.C. to remain there for 70 years. After their exile was complete, a small remnant of Yahudim returned to Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) to rebuild the Temple. The story of their return is related in the Book of Ezra.
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 29:10 relates the words of Yehowah (Yehowah) to the House of Yahudah (Judah), “For thus said Yehowah (Yehowah), ‘When seventy years are completed, at Babel (Babylon) I shall visit you and establish My good word toward you, to bring you back to this place,….’ ”
Yehowah’s words were fulfilled, a remnant of the House of Yahudah repented of idolatry while in Babylon, and were allowed to return to rebuild the Temple in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), and to reinstate the Mosaic Torah in their midst.
CALCULATION OF THE JUDGMENT PERIOD FOR IDOLATRY
All 12 Tribes of Ysr’el were warned by Yehowah that their punishment for the sin of idolatry would be seven times worse; the punishment time lengthened by seven times.
Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 26:21 says, “And if you walk contrary to Me, and refuse to obey Me, I shall bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins,….”
Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 26:27-28 states, “And if in spite of this, you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me, then I shall walk contrary to you in wrath. And I Myself shall punish you seven times for your sins.”
The punishment for the sins of idolatry committed by the House of Ysr’el would yield a period of judgment that would last seven times longer than it should, and it would include plagues or afflictions. The Hebrew word “mak-keh” that is used in the Hebrew manuscripts for plagues means “a blow; a wound; carnage; pestilence; beaten; slaughter; smote; sore; stripe; wound.” In addition to these things, the people would be banished from their land and scattered into foreign pagan lands. The punishment for the disobedience of idolatry was to be seven times in severity upon the children of the House of Ysr’el.
JUDGMENT TIME FOR THE HOUSE OF YSR’EL
Yehowah told the prophet Yehezqel (Ezekiel) to lie on his side to show him the exact number of years that Yehowah would punish the House of Ysr’el for their sin of idolatry.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 4:4-5 states, “And lie on your left side, and you shall put the crookedness of the house of Ysr’el on it. As many days as you lie on it, you shall bear their crookedness. For I Myself have laid on you the years of their crookedness, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days (1 day = 1 year; 390 days = 390 years). And you shall bear the crookedness of the House of Ysr’el.”
Because the House of Ysr’el (10 Northern Tribes) did not repent of their idolatry during their wandering through the gentile (pagan; heathen) nations, the total number of years of their punishment for idolatry became a Judgment Period of 2,730 years.
390 years x 7 times worse = 2,730 years total time of Judgment upon the House of Ysr’el.
JUDGMENT TIME FOR THE HOUSE OF YAHUDAH
Yahudah’s (Judah’s) punishment for idolatry was somewhat different than that of the House of Ysr’el. Yahudah’s punishment came in two consecutive measures of punishment. The first punishment of exile took Yahudah into Babylon for exactly 70 years. However, the 7 times worse curse was not imposed on the exile into Babylon for the House of Yahudah. Yahudah probably escaped the 7 times worse in the Babylonian exile because a small remnant of the House of Yahudah heard the prophets that Yehowah sent to them while they were in exile, and repented of their idolatry. That small remnant of repented Yahudim were then allowed to return to Yerushalayim to rebuild the Temple, and to reinstate the Mosaic Torah in their lives. Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 25:9-12, 25:10; Zekaryah (Zechariah) 7:5 verify the House of Yahudah’s 70 year exile into Babylon. The others that did not repent continued to stay in Babylon to eventually migrate into other heathen lands.
The second measure of punishment for idolatry for the House of Yahudah began immediately after the 70 year exile into Babylon.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 4:6 states, “And when you have completed them (70 years exile into Babylon, Yehezqel was among the Jews that went into exile), you shall lie again on your right side and shall bear the crookedness of the house of Yahudah (Judah) forty days, a day for a year (1 day = 1 year; 40 days = 40 years). I have laid on you a day for a year.”
The 40 year punishment would yield the 7 times worse curse of Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 26:21 and 26:27-28 upon it because those among the members of the House of Yahudah that did not repent would continue to be chastised for idolatry until the fulfillment of Yahudah‘s Judgment Period..
Yehowah’s punishment time for the House of Yahudah is calculated as such:
70 years in Babylon.
40 years x 7 times worse = 280 years.
70 years + 280 years = 350 years total Judgment time upon the House of Yahudah (Judah).
WHEN ARE THE TRIBES OF YSR’EL TO BE RELEASED FROM Yehowah’S (Yehowah’S) JUDGMENT PERIOD?
THE HOUSE OF YSR’EL’S RELEASE
To figure the time sequence for the release of the House of Ysr’el (10 Tribes scattered among the gentile (pagan; heathen) nations), one must subtract the year 734 B.C. when their first deportation began, from the 2,730 years punishment time allotted to the House of Ysr’el.
2,730 years - 734 B.C. = 1996 C.E. (A.D.) to be the time of release for the House of Ysr’el (10 Northern Tribes) from the Judgment for the sin of idolatry.
THE HOUSE OF YAHUDAH’S RELEASE
The House of Yahudah (Judah) can be easily figured too: 606 B.C. (the year that the first captives of Yahudah/Judah were taken into Babylon for 70 years - 350 total years allotted for punishment = 256 B.C.E. 256 B.C.E. was the year of completion for the House of Yahudah for the sin of idolatry.
606 B.C.E. - 350 years = 256 B.C.E. to be the release for the House of Yahudah (Judah) from their Judgment Period for the sin of idolatry.

A GREAT EVENT AFTER YAHUDAH’S JUDGMENT PERIOD ENDED
Because the small remnant of the House of Yahudah had repented of their sin of idolatry, and were allowed by Yehowah through King Cyrus to return to the Land of Ysr’el to rebuild the Temple in Yerushayalim so that they might worship Yehowah once again as prescribed in the Mosaic Torah, the years were set in motion to bring about the fulfillment of Yahudah’s Judgment Period, and the Savior’s arrival in the Land of Ysr’el. Therefore, the Savior was able to come and dwell with the House of Yahudah during His life here on earth because Yahudah had been released from its Judgment Period, and had continued to keep the Mosaic Torah in its midst.
Scriptures tell us that Yehowah is the Savior of the Nation of Ysr’el, both Houses of Ysr’el. Therefore, Yehowah must provide a means of redemption for the 12 Tribes of Ysr’el or they would not be able to come out of idolatry. Yahushua (Yah’s savior/vessel of salvation) came to give Himself as the atoning sacrifice for Ysr’el’s sin of idolatry so that both Houses of Ysr’el could be forgiven of their idolatrous sins.
Even though the Judgment Period placed upon the House of Ysr’el (10 Tribes and their descendants) would extend beyond the time of the Savior’s Death, His atoning sacrifice nevertheless contained the power to redeem individual members of the House of Ysr’el (also those members of the House of Yahudah, and the world who chose to believe in the Savior’s Death) during the Judgment Period, and after its completion. Yahushua’s corporate bodily sacrifice (made for both Houses of Ysr’el) had to supersede the animal sacrificial system of the Mosaic Torah because the Temple and Levitical Priesthood would not exist at the closure of the Judgment Period placed upon the House of Ysr’el.
Therefore, through His atoning sacrifice, He was able to make the Blood Atonement for the lost sheep of the House of Ysr’el (10 Tribes), for those in the House of Yahudah that would believe in Yahushua’s Work, and all others in the pagan world that are willing to accept His Redemptive Work for their sins as well Yahushua’s sacrifice opened the way for all to be redeemed, and especially, the descendants of the House of Ysr’el since their Judgment Period ran simultaneously with the years after the Savior’s Death..
Since the completion of the House of Ysr’el’s Judgment Period in came 1996 A.D., those that have been redeemed by the perfect Blood of Yahushua have the ability to receive the Father’s call to repent of idol worship, and to be forgiven of their participation in idolatry. They now have the opportunity to return to the ancient paths of the Mosaic Torah so that they may please the Father once again..
Yehowah WILL KEEP A REMNANT AMONG THOSE SCATTERED
The prophet Yehezqel(Ezekiel) tells us that Yehowah will scatter both Houses of Ysr’el among the gentile (pagan; heathen) nations; He will certainly judge their sin of idolatry, and punish them; He will not totally destroy them, but will leave a remnant that repents before Him.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 6:8-9 states, “But I shall leave a remnant, in that some of you shall escape the sword among the gentiles, when you are scattered throughout the lands. And those of you who escape shall remember Me among the gentiles where they have been taken captive, because I have been broken by their adulterous heart which has turned away from Me, and by their eyes which whored after their idols. And they shall loathe themselves for their evils which they have done in all their abominations.”
Yehowah will take a remnant of believers out of all those scattered in the gentile (pagan; heathen) nations; He will forgive them of their sin of idolatry; He will teach them His Mosaic Torah, and they shall be bound to the everlasting covenant.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 20:34-37 says, “ ‘And I shall bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the lands where you are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out (no longer angry with them). And I shall bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and shall enter into judgment with you face to face there (nothing to stand between Yehowah and His People). As I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Mitsrayim (Egypt), so shall I enter into judgment with you,’ declares the Master Yehowah (Yehowah). And I shall make you pass under the rod (teach Torah to them), and shall bring you into the bond of the covenant,….”
It is an awesome thing to realize that in this present generation Yehowah’s Judgment Period that was placed upon the House of Ysr’el 2,730 years ago was completed in the year 1996 A.D. It is even more amazing that a remnant is appearing since the close of the Judgment Period. Even though the people in this growing remnant were former participants in the idolatrous religions of the world, mostly in Christianity, each have heard the Father’s Call to come out of idolatry (Babylon). They have left their former religions to become members of the remnant spoken of in Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 20:34-37.
This remnant of the Mosaic Torah instructed, and observant redeemed believers no longer call upon the manmade names of religious icons. They no longer follow church teachings that have caused them to be disengaged from Yehowah’s Mosaic Torah instructions. They no longer worship, pray to, sing to, or write about pagan “gods,” or religious “icons” that have been assigned manmade names
Shemoth (Exodus) 20:3-5 tells us, “ You have no other mighty ones (ba’als; gods; idolatrous icons; imaginations; religious philosophies, etc.) against my Face. You do not make for yourself a carved image (physical or mental), or any likeness of that which is in the heavens above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth, you do not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, Yehowah (Yehowah) your Elohim am a jealous El, visiting the crookedness of the fathers on the children (their descendants) to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me (idolatry is hatred to Yehowah (Yehowah), but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and guard My commands (guard is to keep and cherish Torah instructions of Yehowah/Yehowah).”
Shemoth (Exodus) 23:13 further states, “And in all that I have said to you take heed (listen up). And make no mention of the name of other mighty ones (DO NOT SPEAK MANMADE NAMES ASSIGNED TO RELIGIOUS ‘GODS,’ ‘ICONS,’ ETC.), let it not be heard from your mouth.”
Remnant believers have been renewed in their relationship with their Creator who came to earth to give Himself as the sacrifice for their sins of idolatry. They no longer have the sin of idolatry on their record before Yehowah, and therefore take heed to following the Father’s Mosaic Torah instructions for their lives.
A SIMILARITY BETWEEN Yehowah’S PROPHETIC WORD REGARDING THE EXODUS AND THE JUDGMENT PERIOD
There is a similarity between Yehowah’s prophetic Word that He gave to Abram (Abraham) in Bereshith (Genesis) 15:3, and was fulfilled by the exodus of the 12 Tribes of Ysr’el from their captivity in Mitsrayim (Egypt) after 430 years of slavery, and the House of Yahudah’s exiles, and the House of Ysr’el’s Judgment Period that was extended in time unto our generation.
FIRST SIMILARITY
Bereshith (Genesis) 15:13 states, “And He said to Abram, ‘Know for certain that your seed (descendants) are to be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them, and they shall afflict them (place them in slavery) four hundred years.”
Abram’s (Abraham’s) people, the descendants of the 12 Tribes of Ysr’el went into Mitsrayim (Egypt), a pagan land; a land not their own. Generations later, the descendants of Abraham would also be scattered in the gentile (pagan; heathen) lands, lands that were not their own as a result of their Judgment Periods.
In pagan lands, Abraham’s descendants served gentile peoples, pagan kingdoms, and participated in pagan religions. Over the four hundred years, they and their descendants became enslaved to idolatry through the forced worship of pagan “gods” which then became willful participation in various forms of ancient sun-god worship. To this day, the ancient forms of idolatry still flourish but have evolved into more “acceptable” forms of idolatry that are cleverly designed to deceive modern-day people..
Unfortunately, with a learned background of idolatry, the ancient people of Yehowah fell right back into idolatry almost immediately after being released from slavery in Mitsrayim (Egypt). Shemoth (Exodus) 32 tells us how they fashioned a golden hap-bull, a symbol of Egypt’s sun-god, while Moshe was on the mountain receiving the Stone Tablets.
Centuries later, Abram’s (Abraham’s) descendants, especially the Redeemed of the House of Ysr’el, would also participate in idolatrous religions. They would become severely enslaved by idolatry, and mentally entrenched in the false teachings of idolatry, and become spiritually handicapped by indoctrination. They would continue to willfully practice idolatry in their religions, happily walking in rebellion to Yehowah up to the closing of their Judgment Period, and many more will continue beyond that time.
OVERVIEW OF IDOLATRY MOST PRACTICED BY THE REDEEMED OF THE HOUSE OF YSR’EL
This overview has been included to help the reader to understand the real essence of idolatry that has preyed upon the people of the 10 Tribes of Ysr’el, and those members of the House of Yahudah that also followed idolatry on the same road as the House of Ysr’el during the last 1600 years of the Judgment Period.
Under Roman Emperor Constantine, all religions in the Roman Empire were amalgamated into one “universal” (catholic means universal) religion composed of various forms of sun-god and sun-goddess worship. For a time, followers of the Nazarene/Messianic faith were included in the “universal” religion. Limited aspects of the Nazarene/Messianic faith were mixed into the cauldron of pagan religion. After the followers of the True faith were almost decimated within the Roman Empire, some went into hiding underground, the True faith then became visibly lost in the Roman Empire. Traces of the True faith that remained came to be despised due to the practice of anti-Semitism by the early Church fathers; anything resembling the despised “Jews” or their practices was done away with. In the “universal” religion of Rome, Yehowah’s Feast Days were deleted, and replaced by pagan holidays that were instituted. These pagan holidays, Christmas, Easter, etc., became highly revered in the “universal” religion of Rome, and continue to be so even today. Unfortunately, all of Rome’s holidays honor ancient Babylonian sun-gods and goddesses that have been handed down from the Greek civilization, but originally came from the Chaldean-Babylonian Empire.
The new pagan religion of Rome deleted Yehowah’s Shabbat/Sabbath or Seventh-Day of Rest to honor Rome’s sun-god “Tammuz” on Sun-day, the day set aside for Rome’s highest deity. All torture and murder to eliminate Nazarene/Messianic followers in the Roman Empire were done on Sun-day to honor Rome’s great sun-god “Tammuz.” The reader should understand at this point, what historians call “Christians” being fed to the lions were actually Nazarene/Messianic followers of the True faith. Christos (Christ) was a title for the Roman sun-god “Tammuz” believed to be the “anointed one” in Rome’s religion. Therefore, “Tammuz” followers would be the people called “Christiani” or “Christians.” Rome’s Christians were not the problem children in the Empire, they were the followers of Rome’s religion to be praised by the Church of Rome.
In Rome’s religion, the City of Rome became the Holy City rather than Yehowah’s chosen City of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). A pagan priesthood was set-up that was ruled by a Pope but has no likeness to the spiritual priesthood of Yahushua HaMashiach. Out of Rome emerged the “universal” Roman Catholic Church with the idolatrous mixture of idolatry and the New Covenant. Yarob’am’s Egyptian hap-bulls became wood and plaster statues of manmade images of saints. Within Rome’s idolatrous religion a new and more adaptable “universal” worship was designed. It would disguise the more formidable worship of “Tammuz” which included a Babylonian Trinity, and high reverence to the wife of Tammuz, that could be traced to the ancient Babylonian sun-gods. The new Roman religion also had to be re-adapted to fit in with the New Covenant, and appear to have its roots come from the New Covenant rather than Babylonian paganism. Its mythological Babylonian Trinity had to become more in touch with humanity, and therefore, it developed into a Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. In Rome’s new religion, the son of “Tammuz” became humanity’s new “savior,” and the new “savior” of Rome was given a Greco-Roman name to be more fitting. This new “savior” would carry the title of “Christos.” That same Roman “savior” would become known as Jesus Christ. The “savior” of Rome would be totally Greco-Roman in philosophy, in identity, and become the most highly popularized “savior” down through the centuries.
Many have been redeemed by Yehowah, Ysr’el’s Savior, through the work of His Son, Yahushua, but a set course of a cleverly designed idolatrous religion would entrap, and lure the Redeemed into a state of compromise with idolatry, and last for many generations. It emerged almost immediately after the original apostles died. After the original apostles died, the original faith of Avraham (Abraham), Yitzak (Isaac), Ya’acov (Jacob), and that of Yahushua, Son of Yehowah, which was in agreement with the Mosaic Torah became polluted and tainted with idolatry to become virtually non-existent in most of the Redeemed. One reason why the faith of the Redeemed at that time fell short is that the early Church fathers willfully dismissed the Mosaic Torah from their teachings. Without proper Nazarene/Messianic leadership remaining in existence that could help strengthen the faith of the Redeemed, and help their faith to grow, and become steadfast in the salvation of the True Redeemer of Ysr’el by the proper instruction of the Mosaic Torah which would have enabled them to put on the “helmet of salvation,” their faith became greatly weakened, and their minds susceptible to deception. What most people do not know is that the Judgment Period had a lot to do with the state of mind for the Redeemed. True redemption certainly was made for thousands upon thousands during that time, and continues to occur. But the mind of a redeemed person takes time to align itself with the work that goes on in one’s heart through redemption. Because the original sin that caused the Judgment Period was idolatry, the minds of the Redeemed during that time were highly susceptible to the allurement of deception because the “helmet of salvation” which is the instruction of the Mosaic Torah was withdrawn from them as part of their punishment. In other words, “If its idolatry that you want, then idolatry is what you get!” Because the
early Church fathers were also laboring under the Judgment Period, their minds and religious teachings were polluted with idolatry. Therefore, without the “helmet of salvation” to protect their minds, the Redeemed fell back into idolatry once again. Church leaders and followers, had come from previous backgrounds of idolatrous worship. Without the wisdom of the Mosaic Torah to protect their minds, they were greatly deceived by the Spirit of Idolatry after their redemption.
Therefore, polluted with idolatry during the Judgment Period, the Redeemed instituted a new version of the ancient Yarob’am (Jeroboam) religion, that was originally a mixture of the Mosaic Torah and idolatry. However, in the new version of the religion, the First Covenant containing the Mosaic Torah would become totally disengaged from the Renewed Covenant (New Testament). Eventually, the First Covenant containing the Mosaic Torah would be thought of as only a history book, and not relevant to the Greco-Roman philosophy of the religion or its distorted Renewed Covenant teachings. Unfortunately, with idolatry still captivating their minds, the new version of Yarob’am’s religion took on great distortions of the Truth found in the Renewed Covenant, and the outcome to their religious experience has been a continuance even to this day of idolatry mixed with the New Covenant. It has now become tradition.
Through the spread of the Church’s Greco-Roman form of the Besarah (Gospel), a gentile church-made “savior” appeared that would forgive men of their sins (really meaning that this “savior” would forgive mankind of its sins to the Roman Catholic Church). People of the Roman held territories, including descendants of the ancient House of Ysr’el, readily accepted this Greco-Roman “savior,” and converted to the new version of Yarob’am’s/Jeroboam’s idolatrous religion. The Church of Rome cleverly included various aspects of their former religions to satisfy the converts to keep political peace in the realm. Generations later, a Reformation Period took place that was fortunate in many ways for the Redeemed because it recovered certain aspects of the Word of Yehowah pertaining to faith and salvation that the Roman Catholic Church had withheld from the Redeemed. With the help of the Ruach HaKodesh ( Set-Apart Spirit of Yehowah), a partial spiritual “awakening” took place in the hearts and minds of several men that were called to be Reformation preachers. These preachers were anointed by the Ruach HaKodesh to bring about a measure of “revival” among the Redeemed of that period of time. Through this “awakening” and measure of “revival,” the Reformation accomplished a breaking away from the hardcore idolatrous Church of Rome for many of the Redeemed, but the Spirit of Idolatry was not totally driven from their minds. Only a limited deliverance could be done due to the Judgment Period being in effect at that time. During the Reformation, Yehowah manifested a purifying work of men’s souls by the Ruach HaKodesh (Set-apart Spirit) to show mercy to the Redeemed. Unfortunately though, whenever Yehowah works with His People, HaSatan formulates an even more deceptive work by the Spirit of Idolatry. Therefore, The Reformation Period had two avenues of work being carried on, one with Yehowah, and one with the father
of idolatry. Because the Judgment Period had not yet ended, the work among the Redeemed was limited, and the Spirit of Idolatry continued like a plaque afflicting the minds of Yehowah’s people (from the Hebrew word “mak-keh”). Taking advantage of the Reformation, the religious Spirit of Idolatry cleverly began to reform itself to become even more deceptive by taking on a “Christian” appearance. During the Reformation, the ultimate religious deception was to become the “Christian branch” of the Roman Catholic Church. A branch of the Church of Rome that would be so “reformed” that the average person would not see its actual relationship to the Church of Rome until the close of the Judgment Period. Its “clean” religious appearance would “lure” the Redeemed, even those that had learned to see the idolatry within the Roman Catholic Church, into its pleasant and more emotionally satisfying confines. When its work was so “refined,” who among the Redeemed would suspect that the Christian branch would have any link to the Church of Rome. Plaster and wood statues, and the religious trappings of Rome were deleted from the new “Christian branch” of the Roman Catholic Church religion. The allurement for physical eyes to be drawn to idol statues to be worshipped was no longer instrumental in the new form of worship. A cleverly designed mental image of a more believable church “savior” was developed in the “new branch” of the Roman Catholic Church. This new Roman “savior” would not need a “virgin Mother” to support him. He would be so much in the forefront of the new “Christian branch” of the Roman Church that the Redeemed would become emotionally enthralled with his image while wallowing in idolatrous worship. His manmade name would become the only name that the Redeemed would profess as “savior” for centuries. In the minds of the Redeemed of the House of Ysr’el, this “savior” was the only one that loved the masses, and yet, he had no ties to the Roman Catholic
Church, even though he was the same “savior” that both churches professed. Most of the present day Redeemed still have no clue that the “Christian” ties to the Roman Catholic religion can be found in their same “savior,” holidays, Sun-day worship, false teachings, etc. The Spirit of Idolatry would work in this new “ Christian branch” in such a subtle way, and yet continue to do its job of deceiving the Redeemed, and gain even more worship for its true founder. This new “Christian branch” would become so instrumental over the centuries that it would deceive millions among the Redeemed, and keep their minds in religious bondage throughout the Judgment Period. The image and philosophy of its Christian “savior” would become so deeply and emotionally entrenched in the minds of Yehowah’s Redeemed that they would become highly effective in evangelizing the world with the false gospel of the Greco-Roman “savior“ of the Roman Catholic Church. This gospel would cause millions in the world to misrepresent the True Savior, and by the time of the closing of the Judgment Period in 1996 A.D., only the hearts of a remnant few will actively come out of the confines of the Church, and be willing to repent of idolatry, and asked to be forgiven of their participation in it. They are the ones to be called “believers” of this generation because they heard the call of the Ruach HaKodesh to “Come out of Babylon,” and believed that they must do so, and have done so. The Roman Catholic Church with its physical, outward and blatant displays of idolatry gave birth to its daughter church, the Christian Church. The Christian Church would thrive in the basic religion of Rome but without the “beads,” “Pope,” or “statues,” and the religious trappings of Rome. Christianity would retain the holidays, the sun-day worship, and the image of a Greco-Roman “savior” that was completely disassociated from the Mosaic Torah based New Covenant, and the people of Ysr’el. Through the Christian
Church, and its break away religions, the Spirit of Idolatry would continue to have a partial hold on the minds and emotions of Yehowah’s Redeemed people until the close of the Judgment Period in 1996 A.D., and beyond for the rebellious among the Redeemed who refuse to heed the message that they can be released from idolatry now.
Thus, Abram’s (Abraham’s) later descendants would spend hundreds of years enslaved to idolatrous religions throughout their history. The ancient Ysr’elites were enslaved for a total of 430 years, the latter group from the House of Ysr’el would be enslaved for a total of 2,730 years, and more if they do not heed the call of the Father to come out of idolatry (Babylon).
SECOND SIMILARITY
Bereshith (Genesis) 15:14 states, “But the nation whom they serve I am going to judge, and afterward let them come out with great possessions.”
Yehowah will judge all nations that His people have been scattered to. Many nations in the world where the children of Ysr’el were scattered have already undergone severe judgment. But there is a time reserved for the pagan world to receive Yehowah’s greater judgment, the Great Tribulation.
Abraham’s first group of descendants that went into Mitsrayim (Egypt) upon release came out with great material possessions. The latter group of Ysr’el’s descendants, the remnant of Yehowah’s Redeemed, which are those among the Redeemed that repent of idolatry, and ask to be forgiven of the sin of idolatry, shall come out of their Judgment Period with great spiritual possessions - the renewed Faith of Yahushua Ha Mashiach (the Messiah of Ysr’el), the new spiritual birth as a result of obedience to the Mosaic Torah, the personal assistance of the Helper, the Ruach HaKodesh (Set-apart Spirit), the Blessings of the Avrahamic Covenant, and a return to the ancient paths of the Mosaic Torah that will build a strong foundation to their faith which will carry them through the Time of Ya’acov’s (Jacob’s) Trouble. Those among the Redeemed that remain in rebellion after the Judgment Period ends will have to go through the harsh reality of the Great Tribulation to have their faith purified.
THIRD SIMILARITY
Bereshith (Genesis) 15:16 states, “Then in the fourth generation they shall return here (Eretz Ysr’el, Land of Ysr’el as given in the Avrahamic Covenant)….”
The ancient 12 Tribes of Abraham’s descendants returned to Eretz Ysr’el (Land of Ysr’el) after wandering through the wilderness for 40 years. In a similar fashion, members of the House of Yahudah returned to Eretz Ysr’el in our generation to secure the Land prior to the Return of Yahushua HaMashiach, and declared it to be a nation in 1948. The remainder of the descendants of the House of Yahudah, and the members of the House of Ysr’el will return to the Land to be under the future reign of the Mashiach of Ysr’el. At that time both Houses shall be reunited to become one nation once again Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:16-27. Like the first members of the House of Yahudah that returned to the Land, some descendants of the House of Ysr’el have chosen to live in the Land at this present time. There is a very real presence of Ephraim (House of Ysr’el’s other name) living in the Land of Ysr’el today.
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:11-12 says, “And He said to me, ‘Son of man, these bones are all the house of Ysr’el. See, they say, ‘Our bones are dry, our expectancy (hope) has perished, and we ourselves have been cut off!’ Therefore prophesy, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus said the Master Yehowah (Yehowah), ‘See, O My people, I am opening your graves, and shall bring you up from your graves, and shall bring you into the land of Ysr’el.’ ”
Both Houses shall live in the Land of Ysr’el once again because Yehowah has declared it to be so.
Bereshith (Genesis) 15:18 states, “On the same day Yehowah (Yehowah) made a covenant with Abram, saying, ‘I have given this land to your seed (descendants)….”
All of these verses in Bereshith (Genesis) were fulfilled in the lives of the 12 Tribes of Ysr’el when they came out of slavery for 430 years in Mitsrayim (Egypt). All of these same verses will again be fulfilled the second time when the descendants of the ancient children of Ysr’el go into the Land of Ysr’el in the near future.
FOURTH SIMILARITY
Just before coming out of Mitsrayim (Egypt), the 12 Tribes of Ysr’el were told to slaughter a spotless lamb for each family to eat, and place its blood on the lintel and doorposts of their dwelling places. With the blood appearing on the doorposts of their houses, Yehowah’s redemption during the Mosaic Period was provided for the children of Ysr’el as the Death Angel passed over their houses on the night of Pesach (Passover). Their release from 430 years of slavery came into their lives that night.
The latter day children of Ysr’el have also had redemption provided for them through the sacrifice of the spotless Lamb of Elohim, Yahushua HaMashiach (the Messiah of Ysr’el), the Savior of the world. As a result of accepting Yahushua‘s work of redemption for them personally, many have been redeemed, and since 1996 A.D., the opportunity to be fully released from the enslavement to idolatry can readily come into their lives as well. It is their choice now to be free of religion or to remain slaves to idolatry.
FIFTH SIMILARITY
The ancient Ysr’elites were released from hard physical slavery in Mitsrayim (Egypt), and were given 40 years to wander through the wilderness so that the generation of Ysr’elites that had participated in idolatry would die off. Yehowah did not want His People Ysr’el to be involved with the idolatry that they had learned in the pagan nation. From the whole nation of descendants of those Ysr’elites that had entered into the pagan land of Mitzrayim (Egypt) 430 years before, only a small remnant entered into the Promised Land of Kannan (Canaan) under the guidance of Yehoshua (Joshua).
Many people that are alive today were redeemed during the Judgment Period, but they have practiced idolatry in their churches. Because the Judgment Period for the House of Ysr’el has ended now, the Ruach HaKodesh is actively calling people out of the churches, and their idolatrous worship of manmade religious “icons.” Yehowah wants His Redeemed to return to His Mosaic Torah instructions. In this present age, Yehowah does not want His Redeemed nor His Mosaic Torah mixed with idolatry anymore than in ancient times. Today, the question is: Will this generation produce a Mosaic Torah instructed remnant of redeemed people that will return to Eretz Ysr’el, the Promised Land? Or will this generation die out too?
It is very possible that this is the generation that will produce a Mosaic Torah instructed remnant that will return to Eretz Ysr’el in fulfillment of ancient prophecy. But it may also be the generation that will die off (or be spiritually cut off the Tree of Ysr’el; the family of Ysr’el) because of their rebellion, stubbornness, and unwillingness to repent of their participation in the idolatrous Church religions.
Because we have already seen several similarities between the first Exodus, and the release from the Judgment Period in our time, we may be privileged to see a modern day exodus of Redeemed Ysr’elites from the religious system of idolatry. We may also see a Mosaic Torah instructed remnant of the House of Ysr’el enter into the Promised Land of Ysr’el too. This is very possible. If we take the year 1996 A.D. that ended the Judgment Period upon the House of Ysr’el, and add 1 generation of 40 years to that year, we may see a projected time of an Ephraimite Return to be : 1996 A.D. + 40 years = 2,036 A.D.
SIXTH SIMILARITY
During their wandering in the Desert of Sinai for 40 years, the ancient children of Ysr’el were basically fed a lean diet of food called “manna” that barely kept them alive. Likewise, the latter children of Ysr’el have wandered in “desert” lands of pagan nations, and have been fed an extremely “meager” diet of spiritual food that has been mixed in with the rich idolatrous “gravy” teachings in the religions of the world, namely Christianity and Catholicism, barely enough to keep them spiritually alive, most to the point of “spiritual starvation.” Church theology for generations has withheld the life giving spiritual nourishment served at the Master’s Table, the Mosaic Torah. Without the Mosaic Torah instructions to be the wisdom and foundation of their faith, many Christians have been literally starving for Yehowah’s spiritual food. In this generation particularly, they are living on almost no spiritual nourishment at all. They are partaking of polluted and contaminated idolatrous teachings from the many religious pulpits. As a result, their spirits are ill-nourished, wasting away. They are weak and vulnerable to the enemy’s religious lies and deceptions, even more so than at the beginning of the Judgment Period. Some are hanging onto their faith by a thread, others have given up their salvation to return to the pagan world, and have no clue as to where they are at spiritually while sitting in their churches every week.
HOW DO REDEEMED PEOPLE TODAY FIT INTO THIS JUDGMENT PERIOD?
If you live in this generation, and have been Redeemed prior to 1996 A.D. or thereafter, you can be sure that you are a descendant of the ancient children of Ysr’el either by being a blood descendent, your line preserved by Elohim throughout the centuries, or by right of adoption into the family of Ysr’el upon redemption. During the Judgment Period, the Greco-Roman Gospel reached your ears, and your mind accepted it to be truth, but at the same time, your heart actually heard Yehowah’s Call to return to Him for Salvation, that He is your Savior (regardless of whom the Greco-Roman Gospel says is the Savior), and by faith your heart believed Yehowah that He would forgive you of your sins to Him, and you accepted the Savior’s Death to be your means of Redemption. It is not our hearts that are confused, only our minds are confused, and deceived by what we see and hear.
For those of us that were redeemed prior to, and up to the very end of the Judgment Period in 1996 A.D., we must know that we are truly redeemed, and have Yehowah’s Promise of Salvation. But, we must understand that our souls, that part of us which contains our minds and emotions, have participated in the idolatrous worship of religion, mainly Christianity and Catholicism, and their offshoot religions, because we all fell under the timing of the Judgment Period for the sin of idolatry. Yes, we were redeemed during that time, and given the Promise of Salvation, but we must be truthful, the Redeemed have walked in rebellion to Yehowah’s Word, the Mosaic Torah. We have walked (believed) in the false teachings of the Church rather than the teachings of Yehowah. We have thought in the mindset of religious indoctrination, which is idolatry. Religion that is found in the churches has been very cleverly designed so that it will be accepted as truth by the Redeemed. But in Truth, it has been designed to give homage to a manmade “created” savior; a savior that has been whitewashed and “glamorized;” a savior that has no real identity, Name, or character of the real Savior that is found in the Mosaic Torah, the Prophets, or the Writings.
When we fully realize that we have participated in the sin of idolatry as our ancestors did, we will then realize all the more the True redemptive work accomplished by Yahushua, the Savior of the world. The Father was well aware that His children and the whole world, except for Mosaic Torah observant Yahudim, would be worshipping “idols and icons” linked to sun-god worship. In His infinite wisdom, mercy and compassion, He provided the perfect atonement for the sin of idolatry. He sent His son, Yahushua (Hebrew Name of the Son of Elohim that means “Yah’s Savior”) to give Himself up to be the ultimate sacrifice on the “cross,” which was the T-shaped instrument of crucifixion that was used by the Romans for sacrificing humans to their sun-god “Tammuz.” By Yahushua being the ultimate sacrifice to satisfy the Father for Ysr’el’s, and the world’s lust for idolatry, He is able to bring the Father’s forgiveness to us for the sin of idolatry. The Redeemed of today are able to be forgiven of their sin of idolatry that they heavily participated in during the Judgment Period. Upon forgiveness, they are no longer held responsible for the sin of idolatry because Yahushua paid the price for the sin of idolatry. The Judgment Period held the redeemed in bondage to the sin of idolatry. Just as the ancient tribes of Ysr’el were held in slavery in Egypt, and involved themselves in idolatry until the four hundred years had passed, so were the redeemed held in judgment for 2,730 years. For both groups, the times had to be fulfilled.
Since 1996 A.D., all of Yehowah’s redeemed have the ability to leave idolatrous religions behind them, to leave the “slavery” and bondage to religion. They can come out of the churches, and repent of their worship of manmade “icons,” and church created “saviors.” They can regain a fresh new relationship with their Creator and True Savior through repentance of all those old religious things. They can be renewed in their minds, and return to Yehowah with their whole hearts, with all their being: heart, soul (mind) and body (strength). Because the Judgment Period that Yehowah set aside for their sin of idolatry has been fulfilled; they can come out of enslavement to religious idolatry now.
Today the redeemed can be free once again to learn the Savior of Ysr’el’s True Name, the very Name that He gave to the ancient children of Ysr’el through Mosheh (Moses) in Shemoth (Exodus) 3:15, the Name that He wants His Redeemed to know, and to use in prayer, praise, and song. His Name Yehowah appears in all Hebrew manuscripts as Yehowah/Yehowah. Information regarding His Name can be researched by everyone today. Yehowah’s Name can no longer be hidden by Bible translators without a prophetic “cry in the wilderness“ going out to the Redeemed declaring, “People of Ysr’el do not be deceived anymore! The Savior‘s Name is Yehowah.” Yehowah’s Ruach HaKodesh is enabling the Creator and Savior’s Name to be revealed to everyone today because the Judgment Period has ended, and His Name is Eternal, now to be known forevermore by His People Ysr’el.
Shemoth (Exodus) 3:15 says, “And ‘Elohim said further to Mosheh (Moses), ‘Thus you are to say to the children of Ysr’el, Yehowah (Yehowah) ‘Elohay of your fathers, the ‘Elohay of Abraham, the ‘Elohay of Yitzhaq (Isaac), and the ‘Elohay of Ya’acob (Jacob), has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.’ ”
Now that the Judgment Period has ended, the blindfolds of religion can come off. redeemed people are now able to shed, and throw off all the layers of church indoctrination. Church indoctrination has been very cleverly, and subtly developed over the centuries to intentionally confuse, and confound men’s minds to support the religions that would keep Yehowah’s people enslaved to idol worship. Today, they can be released from those religions, if they are willing. They can be free to learn Yehowah’s Mosaic Torah instructions that will bring only the blessings of our Creator and Savior into their lives. They can now have the ability to understand HaBrit Chadasha (the Renewed Covenant) teachings of Yahushua Ha Mashiach in their fullest intent, and to know that His teachings stem from the original Mosaic Torah commandments.
They no longer have to yield to a confused state of mind that separates the First Covenant given from the Renewed Covenant. The separation or partition that church theology placed between the “old” and “new” covenants can now be torn down and thrown out completely. Redeemed people now have the ability to understand that the Renewed Covenant (formerly known as the New Testament) is the original Covenant renewed, not a “new” and “separate” covenant devised just for Christians and the Church.
The Nevi’im (Prophets) can now be fully understood by all the Redeemed. The Church was never able to understand the Books of the Prophets, and therefore, assumed that the church “savior” had instituted a new religion based solely on the “New Testament” Greek manuscripts. Church theology excluded major portions of the Prophets’ words because their words were not understood, and in Church estimation, they seemed to have been projected just for the House of Yahudah. Other prophecies were overlooked because they were believed to have no real fulfillment, or were of no interest to Church theology, and thereby, were dismissed because they did not pertain to the Church. In other words, it would be better said in Church language as, “The Prophets did not see the existence of the Church. Therefore, the Church is separate from the Jews and the Law (the Mosaic Torah.)” This, however, is man’s carnal reasoning that is rooted in religious idolatry, and ignorance handed down from the church fathers. It is not actual Scriptural Truth.
